This is an open invitation for any climate artists, advocates, and activists ages 19+ to participate in a collective art-making project to raise awareness about endangered species in Canada. Facilitated by accomplished First Nation nehiyaw iskwew (Cree) artist, Sandra Lamouche, participants will make artwork or puppets to honour an endangered species of their own choosing. We will record an honour dance together for a video to be shared on Earth Day 2023.
Please note that it is asked that participants attend all three sessions. If you are not able to do so for whatever reason please reach out to the organizing artist at sandraiskwew (at ) gmail.com
